The JEFFERSON salvaged sheepskin waistcoat is a boxy fit waist length, longer and fuller than the EASY RIDER waistcoat. Handmade completely from salvaged sheepskin and vintage textiles.
I select each sheepskin for its quality, individual look and feel. I then wash them without use of chemicals and use natural dyes to obtain a unique colour for the ones I wish to dye.
This process is quite time consuming to revive and bring the quality of the wool back to life, but necessary and very much worth it to reuse such a beautiful textile. Short pile sheepskin in natural creams with natural beige and brown patchwork
