The JEFFERSON salvaged sheepskin waistcoat is a new addition to the crew. A boxy fit waist length, longer and fuller than the EASY RIDER waistcoat. Handmade completely from salvaged sheepskin and vintage textiles. 

I select each sheepskin for its quality, individual look and feel. I then wash them without use of chemicals and use natural dyes to obtain a unique colour for each and every one.

This process is quite time consuming to revive and bring the quality of the wool back to life, but necessary and very much worth it to reuse such a beautiful textile.

This one is a dense curly pile Gotland sheepskin that came from a vintage 1940’s coat. It has been lined with vintage seventies block printed fabric, sheepskin trim and a buckskin leather and deer antler front clasp.
